Today was family day! All day!! It was so wonderful! Brad & I loaded Baby J up this morning and headed up to Gatlinburg to the Smoky Mountain National Park. We have had alot going on lately, between packing our house up, working on paper work for the new house, my interviews for my new job, and Brad being back to work...it just doesn't seem that we've had as much time as we want for "us" as a family, so today was such a breath of fresh air! :)
Today was family day! All day!! It was so wonderful! Brad & I loaded Baby J up this morning and headed up to Gatlinburg to the Smoky Mountain National Park. We have had alot going on lately, between packing our house up, working on paper work for the new house, my interviews for my new job, and Brad being back to work...it just doesn't seem that we've had as much time as we want for "us" as a family, so today was such a breath of fresh air! :)We took our blankets and picked up some KFC chicken and had a nice picnic by the bubbling river! It was great! Perfect weather & a perfect day for us! Janelyn seemed to enjoy the breeze and resting on the blanket with Mommy & Daddy. Brad & I were quiet and just enjoyed getting away from the daily stresses and soaking up each other & our sweet baby girl. Days like today make us realize how blessed we are and the importance of taking time away to enjoy the small things in life! We hope each of you take time to do the same! :)
