7 weeks old! :)

Janelyn is 7 weeks old, now! She's growing fast and learning new things every day! We have introduced her to the Bumbo seat, which helps her learn to sit up on her own. She seems to love being independent in her seat! She has started copying me and sticking her tounge out when I do it to her. She also loves for you to sound her vowels to her and moves her mouth trying so hard to talk back to you! She's learning so fast! She should be around 9 pounds, now!
We are grateful for the last 3 nights & days of sleep! Because of her stuffy nose, her sleep patterns had really been messed up and she was only sleeping 5 1/2 hour periods at night. Yes...that is more than wonderful for a baby her age, but Mommy had gotten used to the 8 hours straight she had been sleeping for 2 weeks!! The last 3 nights she has slept 7 hours straight and it's been such a blessing! Her nose is still stuffy on and off, but seems to be getting better. Each day there is a new challenge and Brad & I are learning as we go! :)

Our girl is getting so big! She's 7 weeks old, now & can sit up on her own in her Bumbo seat! She loves to sit in it while she watches her Baby Eistein DVDs! :)

Janelyn has started recognizing herself in the mirror...it's cute to watch the faces she makes when she notices there's someone staring back at her!

Janelyn has started holding on to my neck when she's so sleepy! It's just precious! :)
