Hello everyone! We hope you are doing great and enjoying this new Fall season! Brad, me, & Janelyn are all doing great!! Janelyn and I are adjusting well to Brad going back to work. Him being home for 3 weeks with us was so wonderful!!! :)
Janelyn is 6 weeks, now! WOW! Time is really flying!! She is starting to hold her head up on her own. She also loves to follow us with her eyes and is trying to make noises and facial expressions that we make to her! It is way too much fun!!! :) During the day, she & I spend alot of time reading books, listening to music, and watching Baby Einstein! She loves Baby Einstein!! She usually sits in her Boppy and watches it for 20-30 minutes at a time!! That seems great for a newborn! She loves to be read to, also. It's such a sweet time for me & her.
One of our favorite times of day is when Daddy gets home at night!! He misses us so much while he's working! He is so good to help me with her baths at night...and he loves it! Janelyn has started kicking her feet in the bath and loves the warm water! It seems to help her to sleep at night. She's a great night-time sleeper! I tell her she is me all day (nosey and observant when she isn't napping) and she becomes her Daddy at night (goes fast asleep around 930)!! It's so sweet how she is a combination of the 2 of us! Here are a couple new pictures of her! She is growing so fast and is over 8 lbs now! Mommy only has a few more weeks off from work with her and I'm trying to cherish every second I can! This is just so much fun!!! :)
